ARSENAL FC IS IN TROUBLE

Arsenal FC is apparently in a race
against time to achieve any dreams lost during Arsene Wenger’s era in North London. The highpoint of the Frenchman’s career came in the 2003/2004 English Premier League season where the Gunners won the League without losing a single game and they came close to winning the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE in 2006, losing to CF Barcelona in the final.

Since then, the Gunners have been on a downward spiral, having to beat Burnley FC the other week, in order to “avoid playing the qualifiers for the 2018/2019 UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE ” and then losing to Leicester FC , the following week.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal  FC team have only managed to win 3 FA CUP titles in 2013/2014,2015/2016 and 2016/2017 Football Season since last winning the FA CUP in 2004/2005.

Arsene Wenger tightened club spending for many years with the position that Arsenal FC can still achieve success on a low-operating cost. He introduced strict diet plans for his players and smartly supervised the expansion of the Emirates Stadium, amidst tight funds.

Wenger broke bank in the transfer of former CF Real Madrid player, Mesuit Ozil in a 42million deal which was a clear defection from his shoe-string tight budget plan over the years. Again, he was ready to pay 40 million for Luis Suarez from Liverpool FC , but pulled out of the deal when the Reds increased the asking price for the Uruguayan.

However, success for Wenger meant securing “CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL” through 4th place at the end of the season, and despite years of achieving this “feat”, Arsenal FC played in the UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE this season and is destined to participate in the UEFA’S second tier competition next season.

The trophy-drought at the Emirates Stadium should have ended in 2015/2016 when Leicester City, team that survived relegation on the last day of the previous season, won the league. Given that the 2 Manchester Clubs, Chelsea FC and Tottenham FC had performed badly, Arsenal FC should have stepped up and won the 2015/2016 English Football League Title.

Instead, Leicester City FC led by striker Jamie Vardy, a player who had once played “NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL” his career inspired the FOXES to the LEAGUE TITLE.

With Arsene Wenger announcing his retirement before the end of the season, Ivan Gazidis and co have to get a coach as soon as possible to fill the void left by Wenger, before the start of the World Cup in June.
